In our group we have Sarah Linnett, Jessica Power and Declan Elliott.
Before March 16th, we built the robot (Minidude) we had complications along the way. Unfortunately we had to rebuild it. We had slow sessions and fast sessions and had to get help from some teachers.x
Sarah Linnett Says: on the 16th of March the test was to get from one end of the tape to the other without runing over the litte man, our group did it in right on the line!!!!We had a tigh with ...another group nice, work Minidude!!!!(:
Today is..22/3.Sarah Linnett says:Today it was only me and Jess,and we totaly mest up! Minidude was so mean,it was realy hard because Minidude was not taking all the stuff we wanted to do!!!!!!! But Minidude is still @wsome!!!! Today we had to get Mini dude to do a360 turn a snake and a shimmy!!!! UNFORTUNEITLY Minidude was not cowoporating!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today is the 11th of May!!! woohoo hoowoo! Today we finished our our whole marking sheet. We think we did well and are proud of ourselves
Today we Chose the music for our dance and we are doing a Holiday by Vaneser Amarosi!
Unfortunetly some one forgot to bring the music not naming names sarahcough........... oh thats me egnor egnor egnor!!!!!!!!!!!
Declan: On the 16th of March, my robotics group 2M had to make our robot (MINIDUDE) start at the tape and accelerate to the other strip of tape and stop right at the start of the Finish line my group did it in the 2nd go, i was pleased with that result although we did allot of estimating throughout our robotics session.......... We tied with another group!!!! basically straight on the dot!!!!
Declan: On the 22nd of March, I was ABSENT Declan: I WAS ABSENT..... AGAIN
Jessica= On the 16th March, we had to do the pedestrian challenge, which meant getting from one side to the other without Minidude crossing the line and crushing the little Lego dude. Mini dude made it spot on!!!!! GO MINIDUDE!!! :D
Jessica= On the 22nd of March me and Sarah were on our own. We had to do the square challenge- Minidude had to go forward and not go out of the square, then do a dance and not go out of the square. Minidude failed and went out of the square SO MANY TIMES!!! Minidude is still the best robot out there!!!
Jessica= In our last two sessions we had to makevour robot do the following
Fast 360 turn
Snake
Shimmy
Figure 8/ 2D shape (we didn't get up to that)
We went GREAT on the Fast 360 turn. Then we went really badly on the snake. A short time after on the shimmy (it didn't get marked though) we went OK but luckily enough we have next time to clean it up. We didn't get to do the figure 8/2D shape, but next time we will do it, preferably the 2D shape because it will be easier.
Jessica= In our last session we finished our sheet and are very proud of ourselves! MINIDUDE ROX :P
Jessica= In todays session, we had to pick a new song for our dance. We hadn't brung the other song with us, so we chose another song on someone's USB. Once we chose our song we got started on our dance.
Declan= in our last 3 sessions we had to do a fast turn, snake, shimmy and figure 8 or a 2D shape my group did that successfuly but we didnt do a very good snake and same with the 2D shape
